McKenzie + George, Rosie Creek Farms Wedding, Panama City, Florida
George and McKenzie’s wedding at Rosie Creek Farms in Panama City, Florida was the definition of timeless Southern charm—even with a little (okay, a lot of) Florida rain. This one was extra special for me personally: I photographed George’s sister Samantha’s wedding years ago, and I’ve known his other sister, Lacy, since middle school. It felt like such a full-circle moment to capture this next chapter for a family I adore.
Rosie Creek Farms is truly one of my favorite Florida wedding venues—with its iconic white barn, French country vibes, and peaceful setting right here in my hometown of Bayou George. Wendy and her team always bring the space to life beautifully, and Kelly Henderson with Make My Day Special kept everything running smoothly, even when the weather threw us a serious curveball.
We had to rush through the ceremony to beat the rain, and somehow managed to squeeze in just four minutes of portraits before the sky completely opened up—but even in that tiny window, the magic showed up. McKenzie looked like a classic, glamorous bride out of a magazine, and she and George handled the whole day with total grace and joy.
This wedding was full of love, laughter, and heart—and despite the weather, it couldn’t have been more perfect.
